Lucas Bare serves as the Managing Director of Conservation Planning at ICF, a position held since March 2014, following a progression through roles such as Senior Manager and Senior Conservation Planner. With prior experience at ICF International as a Senior Associate and Associate, Lucas also contributed to energy project permitting at Entrix, Inc. as an Assistant Staff Scientist. Additional experience includes a Stewardship Internship at Wood River Land Trust, focusing on conservation easement monitoring, and work as a Graduate Research Assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory, engaging in genetic and epidemiological research. Lucas holds a Master of Environmental Science & Management in Conservation Planning from Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Bowdoin College.
