Mason Fried

Mason Fried, PhD, is the Director of Climate Science and Analytics at ICF, where they lead a team focused on developing innovative climate analytics and technology services. With extensive experience in climate science, they have held positions as a Senior Managing Consultant and Climate Scientist at ICF. Mason’s previous roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Texas at Austin and Arctic Science Intern at the Environmental Defense Fund, contributing to significant climate research and publications. They earned their PhD in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from The University of Texas at Austin, along with a Master’s degree from Portland State University and a Bachelor’s from Hamilton College.
