Mason Simmons, MPH, currently serves as a Research Scientist at ICF since August 2023, previously holding the position of Research & Evaluation Associate at the UNC Injury Prevention Research Center from June 2022 to August 2023. In this role, Mason contributed to the SYNC and CLI projects, focusing on enhancing ACEs prevention in North Carolina through a systems thinking approach. Notable achievements include serving as the lead author on a mixed methods evaluation report for the CDC and conducting statistical analyses and systematic reviews on ACEs prevention. Mason also has experience from various roles, including Community Activation Associate at Alive and Well Communities, where strategic outreach initiatives were developed, and prior internships supporting public health research at Washington University in St. Louis.
