Michael Brown

Michael Brown is a Senior Managing Consultant in Building Technologies at ICF, where they manage technical support for the ENERGY STAR Residential New Construction Programs and conduct research related to decarbonization, efficiency, and electrification in buildings. They previously served as a Senior Consultant at Navigant, conducting policy analysis for the DOE’s Appliance & Equipment Standards Program, and worked as an Analyst at ICF International supporting various energy programs. Michael also gained experience as a Sustainability Engineer at the University of Virginia, where they implemented energy conservation projects and supervised student employees. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia in 2010.
