Mike Smith

Mike Smith is currently the Senior Director of Data Analytics at ICF, bringing over 20 years of experience in analytics, strategy, innovation, and program management. They advise Federal Government clients on implementing emerging data science practices to enhance performance. Previously, at the Army Research Laboratory, Mike led a team to develop an innovative method for course evaluation, resulting in peer-reviewed publications. They have played a pivotal role in modernizing learning practices for the U.S. Air Force, managing diverse projects and applying machine learning techniques to drive insights. Additionally, Mike contributed to the development of the Certified Analytics Professional credential for INFORMS.
