Nina Franklin possesses extensive experience in both the food service and environmental sectors. At Starbucks, from January 2011 to August 2019, Nina held various roles including Shift Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and Barista, demonstrating strong management and training skills alongside a commitment to customer service. Following this period, Nina transitioned to environmental roles, beginning with Blaine Tech Services as an Environmental Field Technician, where responsibilities included groundwater and stormwater sampling. Nina also served as a Water Efficiency Intern and Representative at Moulton Niguel Water District and currently works as an Environmental Planner at ICF since August 2022. Nina's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from UC Irvine, a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Arizona State University, and studies in Geology/Earth Science at El Camino College.
