Sharmila Chari is currently a Senior Scientific Advisor at the Psychological Health Center of Excellence/ICF, a position held since 2021. Prior to this, Sharmila served as a Scientific Advisor at the Psychological Health Center of Excellence/SalientCRGT from 2020 to 2021 and held several roles, including Research Psychologist at the Northern Region Medical Command from 2009 to 2013, and Senior Scientist at the Defense Suicide Prevention Office from 2019 to 2020. Sharmila earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Psychology from NIMHANS in 2000 and previously completed a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Clinical Psychology at the same institution from 1986 to 1988.
