Guillermo Gerling, PhD, is a chemical engineer with a background in the copper refining industry and a specialization in renewable energies. They served as an undergraduate research assistant at Western University before completing their MSc and PhD at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Guillermo has worked as a research engineer at ICFO, focusing on transparent solar cells and has recently taken on the role of project manager for Knowledge & Technology Transfer at ICFO. They also contribute to science dissemination as a referee for various scientific journals.
