ICFO
Rajesh Bera is a researcher currently affiliated with ICFO as of September 2022, specializing in the Institute of Photonic Science. Previously, Rajesh served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Korea University from November 2019 to June 2022, focusing on the synthesis of SWIR and MWIR colloidal quantum dots, IR-pump-probe studies, and the fabrication of mid-IR photodetectors. Prior to that role, Rajesh worked as a Research Associate at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science between June 2018 and November 2019, where the research concentrated on ultrafast carrier dynamics of 2D nanoplatelets and photocatalytic hydrogen generation using nano heterostructures. Rajesh holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, obtained in May 2018, with research encompassing graphene, quantum dots, porphyrins, ultrafast spectroscopy, photovoltaics, and hydrogen generation, and an M.Sc. in Chemistry from Ramakrishna Mission Residential College completed in 2012.
