Sandra Rodrigues is currently a PhD student at ICFO since July 2022, focusing on advanced research in the field of optics. Prior to this role, Sandra worked as a Physics and Photonics Engineer at iLoF - Intelligent Lab on Fiber from December 2019 to May 2022, where responsibilities included designing and maintaining optical setups for R&D experiments and coordinating projects with academic partners. From February 2016 to December 2019, Sandra collaborated externally with INESC Technology and Science - Associate Laboratory while also serving as a Master Thesis Student, specializing in optical fiber tweezers for manipulating sub-micrometer particles. Sandra holds a Master's degree in Engineering Physics from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto, attained between 2014 and 2019.
