Dinesh Gupta

Dinesh Gupta is a seasoned professional with a robust background in bioinformatics, currently serving as Group Leader of the Translational Bioinformatics Group at ICGEB since October 1998. In this role, Dinesh Gupta focuses on the development of algorithms and databases to enhance translational bioinformatics. Dinesh Gupta also contributed as a Staff Research Scientist and was a Visiting Research Fellow at UPENN from 2000 to 2001, working on the development of PlasmoDB. Dinesh Gupta holds educational credentials from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, where studies were pursued from 1987 to 1989, and graduated from Sardar Patel Vidyalaya between 1980 and 1986.
