Sebastien C. has extensive work experience in business development and licensing within the pharmaceutical industry. Sebastien currently holds the position of Vice President and Head of Business Development & Licensing at Ichnos Sciences since June 2022. Previously, they served as a Director of Business Development at Roche from July 2020 to May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Debiopharm International SA, where they held several roles including Head of Strategic Partnering from July 2019 to September 2020, Strategic Partnering Manager for North America from July 2017 to June 2019, and Business Development & Licensing Manager from November 2013 to June 2017. Before joining Debiopharm International SA, Sebastien held the position of Business Development & Licensing Manager at Cellectis from 2010 to 2013 and Chief Scientific Officer at evitria SA in 2010. Sebastien began their career as a Research Scientist at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals from 2007 to 2009.

Sebastien C. holds a PhD in Bioengineering and Biotechnology from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) obtained in 2008. Prior to that, they completed an Engineering Degree in Bioprocess Engineering and Biotechnology at ENSAIA in 2003.
