Steve Lingsch is a retired Technical Director with an extensive 40-year career supporting the METOC community at ICI Services Corporation. They specialized in various areas including Undersea Warfare, Strategic Systems, and bathymetry/hydrography. During their tenure, they led and managed numerous significant programs, contributing to the operational Naval fleet and transitioning Naval R&D capabilities. With a BS in Environmental Science and a Master's in Computer Science, they have also authored 19 published papers in related scientific fields. Since retirement in 2013, they have worked as an independent consultant, providing expertise in ocean and environmental sciences.
