Daniel Joplin

Daniel Joplin is an accomplished professional with a strong background in data science and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as the Chief AI Officer at iCIMS since August 2025, Joplin has previously held significant roles including Director of Data Science at Mastercard and Director of AI at Sword Health. With a tenure as Principal Data Scientist and Technical Lead at SparkBeyond, Joplin has effectively led teams on complex data projects while enhancing skills within existing teams. As Head of Data Science at Visokio, Joplin developed a data science team from its inception and implemented innovative capabilities across various programming languages. Early career achievements include leading the intelligence division at Datoral, where Joplin established automated analytics systems and collaborated with major companies and governmental organizations. Joplin earned a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham.
