David Wright has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and senior-level roles. David is currently working as the Chief Scientist at iCIMS since June 2019. Before this position, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Jibe, Inc. from March 2016 to June 2019. At Jibe, they played a crucial role in expanding the startup into a robust SaaS platform with enterprise scalability and lower cost structure. David also led important partner initiatives and acted as the executive sponsor for major customers. Additionally, they introduced and developed AI leadership and worked closely with ML vendors and partners. Prior to Jibe, David held the position of Chief Architect, SVP Engineering at LiveIntent, Inc. from September 2014 to January 2016. Here, they led the late-stage startup through significant funding and growth cycles, focusing on API-based platform adoption and revenue acceleration through integrations with major companies. David also worked as the VP Engineering, Chief Architect at Kronos from January 2010 to August 2014, where they played a key role in driving the development and transition of the workforce management suite from on-premises to cloud deployments. Their efforts contributed to the company's success and PE recapitalization. Furthermore, David worked as a Senior Architect at SeaChange International from October 2008 to January 2010, where they architected a video content delivery platform and led the development of scalable infrastructure services. Prior to SeaChange, they were the Chief Enterprise Architect at Ingenix from April 2006 to July 2008, leading strategic architecture initiatives and advocating for the adoption of common frameworks and integration strategy. Before Ingenix, David worked as the Chief Enterprise Architect at Aspen Technology from November 2004 to April 2006. Here, they undertook strategic and tactical architecture definitions for revenue growth and drove the adoption of standard best practice integration patterns. Lastly, David began their career at Hewlett-Packard in August 1988 as a Master Architect. During their tenure, they devised growth market strategies, developed technology roadmaps, and worked on patent applications for business critical document management.

David Wright has pursued executive education at Harvard Business School, focusing on the field of Marketing Innovative Ideas. David also completed executive education at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, with a focus on Finance for Non-Financial Executives. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Southern Methodist University, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University. David has also engaged in online learning through platforms like Coursera, where they studied various subjects including Machine Learning, Discrete Optimization, Recommender Systems, Data Science, Gamification, and Guitar. Furthermore, they completed a Deep Learning program at Udacity.
