John Podesta

John Podesta has extensive work experience in the legal field. John is currently working at iCIMS as a Senior Corporate Privacy Counsel, and prior to that, they held the position of Corporate Privacy Counsel at the same company. Before joining iCIMS, Podesta worked at CARFAX as the Associate General Counsel, Head of Privacy. John also served as the Associate General Counsel and Global Director of Privacy at Avis Budget Group. Podesta's earlier experience includes working as a Corporate Contracts Counsel at Cognizant Technology Solutions and as the SVP Corporate & Legal Affairs, Corporate Counsel at Phoenix Communications Group. John started their legal career as an Associate at Lite DePalma Greenberg LLC and also served as a Law Clerk for Hon. Edmund M. Kirby. Throughout their career, Podesta has been involved in various legal matters, including negotiating agreements, advising on contractual terms and obligations, and handling complex commercial litigation cases.

John Podesta attended Lafayette College from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Government and Law, Philosophy. John then went on to attend Seton Hall University School of Law from 1996 to 1999, earning their Doctor of Law (JD) degree. In addition to their formal education, Podesta has also obtained several certifications related to information privacy from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), including the Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E), and the Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) certifications.
