Seth Washeck

Seth Washeck has extensive experience in the field of database administration and performance engineering. Seth is currently working as a Principal Database Administrator at iCIMS since 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Sr. Principal Performance Engineer at S&P Global for a brief period in 2022, which was a result of a merger with IHS Markit where they had been working as a Sr. Principal Performance Engineer since 2021.

Before their time at IHS Markit, Seth worked as a Lead Cloud Database Administrator at Infor from 2019 to 2021. Seth also has experience as a Sr. DBA at Origami Risk in 2018-2019 and as a Sr. Solutions Engineer at SentryOne in 2017-2018. Furthermore, between 2013 and 2017, Seth held the position of Senior SQL Server DBA at OppenheimerFunds.

In earlier stages of their career, Seth worked as a Database Administrator at Baxter Healthcare from 2011 to 2013 and at Denver Seminary from 2008 to 2011. Seth began their career as a SQL Server Developer at the National Cattlemen's Beef Association in 2007.

Prior to that, Seth pursued a Master of Science degree in Knowledge Management and Decision Support at the University of Colorado Denver from 2003 to 2004, although they did not complete the degree. In addition to their academic qualifications, Seth also obtained the ITIL Foundations certification in October 2012. The institution that provided this certification is unspecified.
