Varun Kumar Singh

Varun Kumar Singh has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries.

Their most recent role was as a Sr. Principal Product Manager (Technical) at iCIMS, starting in April 2022.

Prior to that, from February 2021 to March 2022, they worked at Jobvite as a Product Manager (PaaS Platform).

From November 2019 to February 2021, Varun worked at PowerSchool Group LLC as a Product Manager for the Unified Talent Suite.

Before that, they were a Product Manager at CropIn Technology from January 2018 to November 2019. At CropIn, they played a key role in creating software products for farm businesses and enhancing data-driven farming.

In 2016, Varun had two different roles. Firstly, they worked as a Management Consultant (Student) at Emory University - Goizueta Business School from January 2016 to April 2017. In this role, they made recommendations to increase sales for a shoe retail chain and a boutique coffee retailer.

Secondly, from June 2016 to December 2016, Varun worked as a Strategy Consultant (Paid Intern) at Fabricated Metals. Here, they developed a new marketing strategy and presented recommendations to the CEO.

From 2009 to 2015, Varun worked at Infosys, where they held various positions such as Product Manager (AstraZeneca), Senior Business Intelligence Developer, and Business Intelligence Developer. Varun Kumar was responsible for developing and managing BI products and analyzing data for customers worldwide.

In 2008, Varun had a Summer Trainee position at the Indian Space Research Organisation. And in 2007, they had Summer Trainee roles at both National Informatics Center and Focus Technology, where they developed websites and software applications.

Varun Kumar Singh pursued higher education at multiple institutions in different fields of study. From 2015 to 2017, they attended Emory University's Goizueta Business School, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2009, Varun studied at the National Institute of Technology Durgapur, earning a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Information Technology.

Before entering college, Varun Kumar Singh completed their senior secondary education at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya from 1993 to 2005. Their coursework primarily focused on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Varun has also obtained certifications to enhance their skill set. In 2023, they completed the certifications "GPT-4 Foundations: Building AI-Powered Apps," "Prompt Engineering: How to Talk to the AIs," and "UX Foundations: Multidevice Design" from LinkedIn. In 2021, they acquired the certifications "API Product Manager" and "API Designer" from API Academy Certification. Furthermore, they obtained an "Expert Level Certification" from Jobvite in the same year.
