Charles Dickens

Charles "Chip" Dickens has extensive experience in the technology and defense sectors, currently serving as President of iCIO, Inc. since July 2008, where responsibilities include supporting the Office of Business Transformation and providing outsourced CIO consulting services. Dickens has held key roles as a subject matter expert in IT portfolio management and financial management for the Department of Defense, contributing to significant modernization initiatives, including data center consolidation and application modernization. Additional engagements include membership on cybersecurity committees with AFCEA International and contributions to the IT Industry Advisory Council for the American Public University System. Dickens’ career began as an Infantry Officer and evolved through various leadership positions, culminating in roles that guided IT investment strategies for Army Logistics. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Religion from Liberty University, with further studies at Harvard Business School.
