Andreas Schroeder is currently the Head of Energy Analytics at ICIS, where Andreas leads cross-commodity work with an analytical and quantitative focus. Prior to this role, Andreas was the Industry Lead at the International Energy Agency, where Andreas led the industry section for the World Energy Outlook. Before that, Andreas worked as a Senior Analyst at Uniper and as an Analyst at Vattenfall, gaining experience in market analysis and asset optimization. Andreas also has a background in research, having worked as a Research Fellow at DIW Berlin and completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Economics at Technische Universität Berlin.
