Hal Brown

Hal Brown is an experienced editor and writer specializing in the maritime and energy industries. Currently serving as the Editor of LNG Europe at ICIS since November 2018, Hal previously worked as a Freelance Writer for IHS Markit for a brief period in 2018. From 2010 to 2017, Hal was the Senior Markets Reporter at Lloyd's List, focusing on oil tankers and gas carriers while also editing the energy shipping page. Earlier roles include reporting on the Scandinavian maritime industry at IHS, Inc., and working as a Staff Writer at Canal Boat Magazine. Hal is pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the London School of Journalism, having started in 2006.
