Joson Ng is currently the Deputy Managing Editor at ICIS, where they lead a team of editors and cover the melamine and titanium dioxide markets. With a background in petrochemical reporting, Joson has been instrumental in shaping market intelligence since joining ICIS in 2019. Previously, they served as a senior editor at Eastern Trade Media Pte Ltd, overseeing multiple trade magazines and contributing to market-focused content and marketing strategies. Before their journalism career, Joson worked as a process engineer, providing operational support and developing standard procedures in the production environment. They hold degrees in Chemical Engineering and Materials Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Nanyang Technological University, respectively.
