Lars Kjoellesdal

Lars Kjoellesdal is an experienced journalist and LNG reporter currently covering liquefied natural gas markets across Europe for ICIS, where Lars also leads the team's Africa coverage since September 2023. Prior experience includes a role at Finansavisen, providing comprehensive breaking news and maritime shipping coverage while based in London from April 2023. Lars has reported for TDN Direkt on maritime shipping companies listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and worked as a policy analyst for the Global Policy Journal at Durham University, focusing on the Global Entrepreneurship Congress 2019. Lars possesses a background in finance management from Bitcamp and has conducted research as a student researcher at The University of Sheffield. Lars holds an MSc in Economic History from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Financial Management from The University of Sheffield.
