Ariel Dekovic

Ariel Dekovic has had a diverse work experience. From 2018 to present, they have served as the Head of Global Communications at ICLEI. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Global Communications at InfluencerDB from 2017 to 2018. From 2016 to 2018, Ariel worked as a Strategy and Marketing Consultant for various organizations, as well as an Engagement and Outreach Consultant for The Specialist Podcast. They also worked as an Evaluation Consultant for Working Solutions Microloans in 2016. From 2014 to 2016, Ariel served as the Interim Executive Director of City Slicker Farms. Earlier in their career, Ariel held roles such as Senior Programs Manager and Communications and Programs Manager at The Collaborative for High Performance Schools from 2011 to 2014. They also founded and organized the Cause Communications Community Meetup from 2011 to 2014. In 2013, Ariel worked as a Strategic Planning Consultant at KALW, an independent public radio station. They began their career as a Team Leader at Architectural Energy Corporation - NORESCO from 2006 to 2011.

Ariel Dekovic has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Political Science from Vassar College. Their earlier education includes attending Lick-Wilmerding High School and San Francisco School, although degrees or specific fields of study are not mentioned for these institutions.
