Val Bugnot

Val Bugnot is an experienced communications specialist currently working at ICLEI since November 2016, having also held the position of communications officer at the same organization. With a strong background in journalism, Val has been a freelance journalist since January 2010, contributing to various media organizations. Prior experience includes serving as a community-driven enterprise development officer at the Department of Social Welfare and Development from 2015 to 2016, and an internship at Fauna & Flora International in 2014. Val holds a Master's degree in Community Development from the University of the Philippines (2016-2019) and a Bachelor's degree in Development Communication, majoring in Development Journalism, from the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
