Yoni Vervoort

Yoni Vervoort is a Digital Health Project Coordinator at icometrix since February 2023, previously contributing as a Studiecoördinator at UZ Leuven from July to November 2022. Prior experience includes a Master Thesis focused on validating mobile technologies for monitoring heart rate and rhythm in cardiac patients at UZA between November 2021 and June 2022. Yoni's early research involved studying the effects of test compounds on T. brucei and Leishmania's impact on neutrophils during a summer placement at the Laboratory for Microbiology, Parasitology and Hygiene in July 2019. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences obtained from the University of Antwerp in 2022, following a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution in 2020.
