ICON Adventures is an independently owned travel business specialising in bespoke travel planning and small-group hiking and cultural tours. We work with curious, active travellers who want more than a standard itinerary and value thoughtful planning, meaningful experiences, and travelling well.

Based in Toowoomba, ICON Adventures operates as both a personalised travel agency and a small-group tour operator. Our bespoke travel planning service supports independent travellers with tailored itineraries covering flights, rail journeys, accommodation, touring and end-to-end travel logistics. Every journey is custom designed to suit individual interests, travel style and pace.

As experienced travel consultants, we simplify complex travel planning, providing practical advice and ongoing support before and during travel. This service is ideal for travellers planning European travel, long-haul journeys, rail-based itineraries or multi-country trips.

Alongside our travel consultancy services, we design and host small-group hiking and cultural tours in Australia and overseas. These tours are carefully curated, well paced, and focused on walking experiences, cultural insight and authentic local encounters, balanced with comfort and care.

Group sizes are intentionally small, making our tours particularly well suited to solo travellers, couples and those seeking genuine connection.

Responsible travel underpins everything we do. We prioritise local guides, locally owned accommodation and experiences that respect culture, community and environment.

Locally grounded in Toowoomba and globally connected, ICON Adventures helps people travel with confidence, curiosity and purpose – whether that’s across the world or simply doing travel properly, the first time.
