ICON is a Boston-based, women-owned business with 50+ talented staff. We believe great design begins with collaboration. It’s that mutually engaging vision behind each of our designs that allows us to create lasting, memorable places, where people:

Love where they LIVE – our new paradigms for living range from infill transit-oriented development to innovative adaptive reuse, creating sustainable communities that energize residents and neighbors alike. We make better places for people to build their lives.

ENGAGE in inspired surroundings – our holistic learning environments seamlessly integrate leading-edge technology, offering a competitive edge to attract and retain students. Our designs empower students and faculty to explore, discover and grow.

RENEW inherent value – whether completely transformed or strategically optimized, we believe that reinvigorated buildings offer extraordinary, sustainable value. Our creative, repositioned projects celebrate rich history while embracing contemporary life.

SUSTAIN our environment – our work integrates intelligent design and construction methods with high performance and passive strategies to reduce energy demand and improve comfort and performance. Our commitment to sustainable design, smart growth and resilience creates healthy communities that restore our environment.
