Peter Chen

Peter Chen is a Senior Modeling and Surfacing Artist at ICON Creative Studio since May 2018, with a background that includes significant roles in major animation projects. Previously, Peter worked at Sony Pictures Imageworks as a Senior Modeler from November 2016 to October 2017, contributing to films such as "Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse" and "The Emoji Movie." Prior to that, Peter held a Senior Modeler position at ICON Creative Studio for a brief period in 2016 and served as Model Lead and Senior CGI Artist at CGCG Inc. from 2007 to 2016, where responsibilities included leading character and environment modeling as well as mentoring new team members. Notable projects at CGCG Inc. featured contributions to the "Star Wars: Clone Wars" series, "Bionicle: HERO Factory," and various DC Comics animations. Peter's career began as a project manager at smec media from 2005 to 2007, where project planning, resource management, and 3D production were key responsibilities. Peter's educational background includes training at Vancouver Film School.
