Mark James

Mark James has over two decades of experience in information security and application support. Currently serving as Security Officer and Head of Internal Support at Icon Solutions since January 2012, Mark is the primary contact for all information and physical security matters and successfully guided the company to ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 certification in 2018 while also achieving BCS CISMP accreditation with distinction. Prior to this, Mark held various roles at IBM from May 2001 to January 2012, including Senior Application Support Analyst and Operations Analyst, contributing to projects such as the Continuous Linked Settlement (CLS) for FOREX and implementing Tivoli Workload Scheduler installations. Mark's educational background includes studies at Churcher's College and Alton Sixth Form College.
