Sharon Oddy

Sharon Oddy has a strong background in corporate communications and marketing. Sharon most recently worked at Iconectiv as the Vice President of Corporate Communications and Marketing. Prior to that, they were at Verizon where they held the role of Associate Director of Social/Digital Communications. In this role, they were responsible for creating social/digital communication plans and managing the @Verizonnews Twitter handle. Sharon also oversaw a creative social strategy that increased retweets and favorites significantly. Before their time at Verizon, Sharon was the Executive Director of Corporate Communications at Telcordia Technologies. In this position, they were in charge of all internal and external marketing communications for the company. Sharon managed a team of over 20 and was responsible for corporate messaging, brand management, public and analyst relations, advertising, events, web strategy, and more. Sharon has extensive experience in marketing communications and has worked with executive and senior management on various marketing activities.

Sharon Oddy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Kean University during the period of 1984 to 1988. In addition, they obtained the certification of Certified Analyst Relations Professional in January 2004.
