Andy Jakes

Andy Jakes has over 30 years of work experience, starting in 1988 as an Engineering Apprentice at Baker Perkins. Andy then worked at NCR Corporation, holding various roles such as Production Control Specialist, Master Production Scheduler, Print Manager, Engineering Manager, and Assistant Plant Manager. Since 2016, they have been with Iconex, where they have held positions including Plant Manager UK, Plant Manager UK and France, Director of European Operations, and currently serves as VP of Manufacturing - Europe.

Andy Jakes' education history begins with their time at Sir Harry Smith Community College from 1983 to 1988, where they obtained their GCSE. Andy then attended Peterborough College from 1988 to 1991, studying City & Guilds 205 Mechanical Engineering. In 1993, they returned to Peterborough College to pursue a City and Guilds Computer Aided Design 2D & 3D, completing it in 1994. Finally, from 1997 to 1999, they attended Peterborough College again, this time pursuing an HNC in Business and Finance.
