Giulia Maidecchi

Giulia Maidecchi is a freelance artist and illustrator with experience since 2011, transitioning to a full-time illustrator role in 2016. Notable projects include developing the "Jungle" style for Icons8's Ouch! platform and illustrating children's books for Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Editore and Educational Group. Additionally, Maidecchi has created illustrations for various children's games for Lisciani Group and has a background in nanotechnology, having served as a postdoctoral researcher at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia after completing a PhD in Materials Science at Università degli Studi di Genova. Maidecchi holds degrees from the same university, including a Laurea Specialistica and a Laurea Triennale, and has experience as a scientific explainer.
