Ferley Castro Aranda

Ferley Castro Aranda has extensive experience in electrical engineering, having held multiple leadership positions at Universidad del Valle from May 2014 to July 2010, including Director of the Laboratory of Electrical Metrology, Director of the High Voltage Laboratory, and Director of the Electrical Engineering Curriculum, along with serving as a professor. Since February 2013, Ferley Castro Aranda has also been the President of the Technical Standards Committee in Transformers at Icontec International. Earlier, Ferley Castro Aranda worked as a Testing Engineer in the High Voltage Laboratory at Universidad del Valle from January 1993 to December 1996. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Generation Systems from Universidad del Valle (1993-1995), a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (2001-2005), and an Engineer degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad del Valle (1986-1992).
