David Ji

David is a Senior Vice President in the ICR Asia Investor Relations practice. He has extensive capital markets, fund raising, cross-border transactions, investor relations and alternative asset management experience. Prior to joining ICR Asia, David was previously a Co-Founder and Executive Director of Waverly Limited focusing on Pre-IPO consulting in the Hong Kong capital market. In Hong Kong, he was also the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of the Board for Xinhua News Media Holdings Limited (HK.00309). In this role, he was the authorized representative of the company, working as the first point of contact for all external capital markets communications and was also responsible for the Company’s mid-year and annual reports as well as ESG reporting initiatives.

Prior to this role, David worked in New York at Fortress Investment Group in their Private Equity Group, Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds in the Analytics Group, and UBS Private Client Group. Through his roles in New York, David worked with various endowment funds, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, private banks as well as high net worth investors in both an investor reporting and fund raising capacity. David holds a B.S. from Boston University School of Management and a MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
