Farah Soi

Partner at ICR

Since joining ICR in 2010, Farah has helped retailers and consumer goods companies ranging from small caps to global multinationals with their investor relations efforts. From emerging growth companies in the pre-IPO phase to established market leaders in consumer packaged goods, home furnishings, apparel and specialty retailing, she works closely with company leadership and investor relations teams to develop communications targeting the investment community.

Having spent a decade on the buy-side, she is always viewing issues and messages through the lens of an investor. This perspective is invaluable in helping inform the counsel she provides clients, from the global multinational dealing with an activist investor to a high growth, high multiple, recent IPO trying to manage lofty investor expectations. She leverages this experience as an investor, combined with her sector focus at ICR, to advise companies readying for an IPO, a secondary offering, M&A activity, earnings releases and calls, management changes, and a myriad of other issues and events.

Prior to ICR, Farah spent six years at the hedge fund Fine Capital Partners, where she covered companies in the consumer discretionary and consumer staples areas, among other sectors. She was previously an associate vice president at Citigroup Asset Management where she covered the IT services, security software and telecom sectors. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Sophia College, University of Mumbai and has been a CFA charterholder since 2003.
