Vance joined ICR in 2016 following 18 years on Wall Street as a sell-side equity research analyst at Morgan Stanley and DLJ. As an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, Vance served as lead analyst for one of the broadest coverage universes in the history of sell-side research, including more than 75 stocks across the Business Services, Telecommunications, Tech, Internet, REIT and Machinery sectors. He advised on extensive capital raising activities including IPOs, follow-on equity offerings and debt placements for more than 40 clients. Vance received top rankings from Greenwich Associates, StarMine, the Financial Times and Forbes during his Wall Street career, was frequently quoted in publications such as Barron’s and made television appearances on CNBC’s “Fast Money” and on Bloomberg.
Prior to his Wall Street career, Vance developed a strong accounting background as a Senior Associate at Coopers & Lybrand and as a corporate auditor for the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation. He received his MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Industrial Management and Economics from Carnegie Mellon University. Vance serves as a trustee for The Hermitage Museum in Bergen County, New Jersey.
