Andrea Harrison, PhD, is the Deputy Head of the Regional Delegation to the U.S. and Canada at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Previously, they served as the Head of Cooperation at the ICRC and the Deputy Head of the Legal Department from 2012 to 2021. They have held various adjunct teaching positions in International Humanitarian Law at institutions such as Texas A&M University and American University. Andrea chaired the ASIL Lieber Society from 2019 to 2022 and has been a member of the Board of Directors for the American Branch International Law Association. They are currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Law at the University of Leicester.
