Dave Bacon

Dave Bacon is currently serving as the First Aid & Pre Hospital Emergency Care Program Manager with the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine, where they train and supply equipment to hospitals and emergency services amidst the ongoing conflict. Dave previously worked as the Hazardous Area Response Team Training Manager for East of England Ambulance Service from 2012 to 2022, specializing in emergency response to major incidents. They qualified as a Paramedic in 2007 and served in various roles, including teaching at the national CBRN center and providing specialized training across multiple emergency response domains. With a City & Guilds Technicians Diploma in Motor Vehicle Engineering and further qualifications in safety and rescue techniques, Dave has extensive experience in emergency medical care and response.
