Gil Talon

Gil Talon is currently a Strategic Technology Adviser at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), where they focus on technology accountability and managing external relationships for the RedSafe platform. Previously, they held various roles at ICRC, including Head of Information Management Unit and ICT Program Manager, leading numerous IT projects and managing extensive software development efforts. Before joining ICRC, Gil worked as an IT Project Manager at Systor AG and as a Partner Consulting at CC&T, where they contributed to the development and implementation of HR software and performance management systems. Gil holds multiple degrees in fields such as Information Security and Data Protection, and is pursuing further education at Universiteit Maastricht.
