Hannah Widstam

Hannah Widstam has a diverse background in international relations and development, having served as a Desk Officer at the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) from 2002 to 2003. They held the role of Deputy Director at Regeringskansliet, Utrikesdepartementet from 2010 to 2015, and contributed as a Counsellor in the Development Section at the Swedish Representation to the EU from 2015 to 2020. Hannah also acted as First Secretary at the Swedish Mission to the UN from 2009 to 2010 and later served as Minister Counsellor for Humanitarian Affairs at the Permanent Mission of Sweden to the United Nations in Geneva until 2025. Currently, they manage the Centre of Excellence on Governments at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and are pursuing a degree in International Economics at Handelshögskolan i Stockholm.
