James Awange is a seasoned procurement engineer currently serving as a Senior Procurement Officer for the International Committee of the Red Cross since 1999. They began their career as an Assistant Site Engineer at Sumitomo (International) Construction Co Ltd from 1994 to 1999 and later worked as a Civil Engineering Estimator at M J Gleeson (International) Limited. James holds a Bachelor of Technology in Building Construction Technology from the Technical University of Kenya, as well as a Construction Engineering degree and a Master’s degree in Construction Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
