Johnson Kwangware

Johnson Kwangware PMP® is an Urban Water and WASH Specialist with extensive experience in designing and supervising large-scale urban water and sanitation infrastructure in conflict-affected and fragile contexts, including Zimbabwe, South Sudan, Nigeria, Syria, and Myanmar. They have previously held roles such as the Water and Habitat Operations Manager at the International Committee of the Red Cross, where they led emergency and long-term water, sanitation, shelter, and infrastructure projects. Kwangware's expertise includes resource mobilization and partnership building, as demonstrated in their leadership of the multi-million Maiduguri Water Supply Project aimed at providing access to potable water for 2.2 million people by 2030. They hold a Master of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Leadership from the University of Lucerne and a Master of Science in Integrated Water Resources Management from the University of Dar es Salaam.
