Jonston Weston

Jonston Weston is an experienced professional in organizational development, disaster response, and project management within the humanitarian sector. With a background that includes leadership roles at Tanzania Red Cross Society as Head of Organization Development and Programs, and Disaster Preparedness and Response Manager, Jonston has successfully strengthened disaster management capacities and implemented climate resilience programs. As a Surge Delegate with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and Finish Red Cross, contributions were made in emergency response and capacity building. Currently serving as a Generalist Officer at the International Committee of the Red Cross, Jonston is responsible for mission strategy development in Tanzania. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Housing and Infrastructure Planning from Ardhi University, along with several certificates in humanitarian diplomacy, project management, and disaster risk reduction.
