Julia Murphy

Julia Murphy is the Deputy Protection Coordinator at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), where they focus on the protection of the civilian population. Julia previously held roles as a Protection Delegate and Protection Team Leader at the ICRC. They completed internships at organizations including the United Nations OCHA and Médecins Sans Frontières, gaining experience in policy research and internal reform. Julia holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Peace and Conflict Studies from Trinity College Dublin, where they researched conflict analysis and sociology.
