Lawrence BAYA

Lawrence Baya, Ph.D., is currently the Head of Sub Delegation at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), where they have dedicated eight years to humanitarian efforts, including emergency response operations and multidisciplinary leadership. With over 20 years of experience in the humanitarian and environmental sectors, Baya specializes in research, project development, and GIS modeling. They hold a Ph.D. in Wildlife Ecology and Management from Freiburg University and are pursuing a Master of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Leadership and Management at the University of Lucerne. Baya has also received numerous accolades, including awards for international student achievement and innovative projects.
