Meike Groen is currently the Protection of Family Links Regional Manager for Europe and Central Asia. They have extensive experience with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), where they served in various roles including Child Protection/Restoring Family Links Delegate, Restoring Family Links and Migration Adviser for North and West Africa, and Deputy Protection Coordinator. Prior to their work with ICRC, Meike was a Policy Adviser and Acting Head of the Restoring Family Links and Migration department at Het Nederlandse Rode Kruis. Meike is pursuing a Master of Science in Political Science at the Universiteit van Amsterdam.
