Norbert Rusch

Norbert Rusch is a humanitarian currently serving as a Délégué Protection at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), where they also work as an interpreter in Hausa and French. Prior to this, they completed a stagiaire position at the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung E.V. in Senegal in 2015. Norbert holds a Master of Arts in African Studies from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and is pursuing ongoing education in Hausa and Bambara language courses. They are also earning a certificate in Urban Humanitarian Emergencies from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, which they expect to complete in 2023.
