Stephane Ojeda

Stephane Ojeda is an international lawyer with over 25 years of experience in advancing international humanitarian law (IHL) through advice, advocacy, and teaching. Currently, they serve as the Managing Editor of the International Review of the Red Cross, where they shape the strategy and global impact of the journal. Stephane has held influential roles within the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), including Head of the Legal Department in Israel and the Occupied Territories, and Deputy Permanent Observer to the UN in New York. They have also contributed to academic discourse by teaching "Law & Conflict" at the SciencesPo Paris School of International Affairs and have worked extensively in crisis areas such as Ukraine and Lebanon. Stephane is multilingual, speaking French, English, and Spanish.
