Tom Muindi

Tom Muindi currently serves as a Security and Safety Officer at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) since July 2024. Previously, Tom held the position of Senior Security Officer at Flamingo Horticulture from October 2017 to July 2024, where responsibilities included deputizing for the Regional Security Manager and managing emergency response reporting. Prior to that, from September 2009 to October 2017, Tom worked at Securex Agencies (K) Ltd, starting as a Security Officer and progressing to Security Supervisor and Field Officer, overseeing security operations across various high-profile client sites. Tom's early experience includes a brief tenure as a Wash Bay Attendant at Braeburn Mombasa International School in 2009. Tom holds a Bachelor in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, and a Diploma in Security Management from the Kenya Institute of Studies in Criminal Justice.
